OUR MISSION
To uplift children who have life-threatening illnesses by creating experiences year-round that are memorable, exciting, fun, build self-esteem, are physically safe, and medically sound.

Medical Care

Medical Director

Our Medical Director is Tracey Gaslin, RN, PhD, CRNI, CPNP.  She is a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner, Doctor of Education and possesses many years of medical camp experience.

The Medical Director:          

  • Oversees all medical aspects of the program
  • Recruits volunteer physicians
  • Chairs the camper selection committee
  • Serves as staff representative to the Medical Advisory Committee  
  • Recruits volunteer RNs and LPNs 
  • Works with health partners and individual families to recruit campers
  • Distributes and collects camper applications

    • A number appropriate to the illness and number of children being served (eg., dialysis techs)

Note:  We are not a "public place of amusement, theater or resort" but a private medical camping facility whose attendants are required to go through an application process, including submitting medical information from your physician, and other pertinent information.  The applicant will receive updates as to their application status from our office of camper recruiting.  Other restrictions may apply.
