Are you ready to see the world the way it ought to be?  If so, then the Center for Courageous Kids is the place for you this summer!  We are looking for high-energy individuals ready to use their creativity and bring camp to life.  As a part of our very first summer staff, you will have the unique opportunity to create traditions that will enhance the lives of the children we serve.  Whether you help turn our dens into a home away from home for a group of campers, help a kid bowl his first strike at our state of the art bowling alley, or get soaked in an all-camp water fight, as a staff member at the Center for Courageous Kids you will make an impression that will last for years to come.

There are many ways that you can use your individual interests and talents here at camp.  We will be hiring Den Counselors, who make sure that the kids in their den are having the time of their life as they follow them through program rotations and all-camp activities.  Program Counselors create fun and memorable experiences for children in their assigned program area.  They utilize every opportunity for creativity as they plan art projects, trail rides and wheelchair basketball tournaments!  Den Leaders take charge and act as a resource for the campers and staff under their supervision.  They come with listening ears, energy and enthusiasm, and prior camp experience!  We have included job descriptions that offer greater detail about the positions we have available this summer.

Our summer staff also have the opportunity to enjoy the surrounding area during nights off and between camper sessions.  Scottsville is twenty minutes from Bowling Green and about an hour from Nashville, which provides staff with places to shop, have a nice dinner or enjoy a concert.  For staff who love the outdoors, there are several locations for caving and hiking nearby.   And of course time off gives everyone the opportunity to check e-mails on our staff computers, make a phone call or read a book!

If a summer at The Center for Courageous Kids sounds like something you would enjoy, please print a copy of our application and mail it to:
